About BOSS
This isn't just another networking event or online community without a pulse.
The Business Owner Sisterhood Society is a trust engine, visibility platform, and relationship ecosystem that fosters authentic relationships, meaningful connections, and real business momentum.

Our Mission
We help ambitious, values-led women entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses with clarity, community, visibility, and sustainable momentum.
We believe that…
We are stronger together. A close-knit community - a sisterhood - of those walking the same path of entrepreneurship is a vital aspect of building confidence and finding support.
We can have full lives where our business, family, hobbies and overall wellbeing don’t have to compete. They can be given the time and energy they deserve without sacrificing who we are in the process.
Our values lead us in how we show up as business owners - these are more than words, but rather a central tenet for running a successful business.
Women business owners deserve equitable opportunities - from funding to other vital resources that have been historically limited in availability.

The BOSS Story

Starting with a small gathering we hosted in a local brewery on a hot June day in 2025, BOSS has grown to become a trusted space for women business owners in Maine who don't want to build alone.

We launched our first event because we saw a need, as a woman-owned business ourselves, to get together for more than an occasional event or conference. While there are plenty of great opportunities for women business owners to connect and grow, we believe there's magic in the “in between” — the stories we share over coffee, the text messages we dare to send with a vulnerable question or request, the accountability we find with a trusted advisor or friend.

That's what led us to take the leap from hosting an occasional networking event to building something more — an online growth platform that can help women entrepreneurs achieve bigger results than they would on their own.
